The Jammu and Kashmir Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Department on Monday assigned the charge of principals for three New Government Medical Colleges.
An order issued by the health department said, “In the interest of administration following Professor/HODs shall temporarily look after the charge of the post of principals of Government Medical Colleges in addition to their own duties, in their own pay and grade with immediate effect till the regular appointment to the posts are made.”
Dr Surider Kumar Atri, Department of Pathology, GMC Kathua has been assigned the charge of the post of principal GMC Kathua.
Similarly, Dr Mrityunjay, Department of Physiology, GMC Jammu has been assigned the charge of principal of GMC Udhampur.
Dr Iffat Hassan Shah, Department of Dermatology GMC Srinagar has been given additional charge of the post of principal GMC Handwara.
