Srinagar, Nov 30: Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) will play its 4th home game in Hero I-League 2022-2023 against Tiddim Road Athletic Union (TRAU) on Thursday at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar. The game is scheduled to start at 2 pm for which adequate security and seating arrangements are being made.
Addressing a pre-match conference, RKFC head coach Mehraj Uddin Wadoo said Thursday’s match is a very important game for the team.
“TRAU is a good team and has very decent results and is looking for points. We are on top of the table and we would like to win three more points tomorrow. Every team is equally competent and we take it as a challenge for tomorrow’s match,” Wadoo said.
About his thoughts about the last match that RKFC played against Churchill Brothers, he said, “Last match was a good one for us. Players made good efforts. We got three points. Although we missed some chances which are part and parcel of the game; in the coming matches, we will try to minimize those mistakes,” Wadoo said.
RKFC player Samuel Kynshi, who remained the player of the match in the last game said, “The mood in the dressing room is very good. We played good football so far and will continue with that.”
TRAU coach L Nandakumar Singh said the RKFC is a difficult opponent. “RKFC is playing on its home ground and is an advantage for them,” he added.
The snow leopards have remained unbeaten this season so far. The high-flying Snow Leopards have had a solid start to the new season, with victories against NEROCA FC (1-0) and Rajasthan United FC (2-0), and a goalless draw against champions Gokulam Kerala FC then won against Churchill Brothers (1-0). Now the team is scheduled to play against TRAU FC on December 1.
