Jammu, Feb 12: Harvinder Singh of Jammu is one among the six top Coaches of the country, who in recognition of their reputation and record, have been selected to attend the prestigious WBSC Softball Asia Coaches Certification Level -1 Course/Seminar to be held at Pattaya in Thailand from February 17 to February 20, 2024.
Working as a Physical Education Teacher (PET), appointed under SRO-376 of J&K Government for outstanding sportspersons, Harvinder Singh was the Chief Coach of the Indian National Senior Softball team for the Asia Cup Softball Championship held at Kochi, Japan this year.
Harvinder has the reputation of being the topper of the 2006-2007 batch of Diploma Courses in Sports Coaching Softball discipline, from Sports Authority of India (SAI), National Institute of Sports (NIS), Southern Centre, Bangalore.
