Srinagar, July 09: Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Mohamad Yousuf Tarigami has expressed grief and sorrow over the tragic road accident in Rajwar Handwara of north Kashmir in which four family members lost their lives when reportedly they had gone to fetch potable water from a nearby water source.
He castigated the administration for failure to provide drinking water to the locality despite tall claims of providing safe drinking water to every household. He urged the administration to initiate an investigation into the cause of the accident.
While expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, the CPI(M) leader demanded adequate compensation to the affected family.
