Khag Budgam, Sept 14:Chairman People’s Democratic Front (PDF) and nominated candidate for assembly constituency Khansahib Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen on Saturday vowed to accomplish the dream of a modern Drang- Khag – Tosamaidan – Gulmarg tourist circuit to bring the whole area on the world tourism map. He has also advocated demand for a Govt: Degree college and sub district hospital at Khag.
Addressing a public gathering at Khag after culmination of an election rally , Hakeem Yaseen said that Khag revenue block was educationally , socially and economically a backward area which has remained totally neglected during the previous regimes even by the ex chief minister Omar Abdulla , when he represented the area as its MLA in 2014. He assured with the support of the people , he will fullfill all the demands of the people including Govt: Degree college and sub district hospital at Khag , construction of Drang- Khag – Tosamaidan – Gulmarg tourist circuit. He said the proposal for construction of Mandi Poonch to Tossamaidan road will also be followed vigorously adding that this road will boost trade and socio – economic ties between the Kashmir region and Poonch Rajouri areas besides providing an alternate highway between Srinagar and Jammu divisions.
