Srinagar, Sep 29: Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen has extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
In a statement issued on Friday, Hakeem expressed his heartfelt felicitations to the people and prayed for the holy day to bring peace and prosperity to humanity, particularly to the people of J&K. “This occasion marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), whose life was a shining example of love, peace, and compassion,” he said.
The former minister emphasised that it is imperative to follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to bring peace to the world. He urged everyone to follow in his footsteps to wash away all sins and social evils. He also stressed the importance of cultivating the virtues of peace, love, compassion, and humility, which were taught by the holy Prophet (SAW).
We all need to reflect on the teachings of the Prophet and strive for a more peaceful and harmonious world, Hakeem said.
