Pulwama, March 16: Indian National Congress (INC) on Tuesday held  ‘Haath Se Haath Jodo’ campaign  at Kandi Aglar in  Rajpora area of  South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
On the occasion Senior INC leader and Pradesh Congress Committee, President Vikar Rasool addressed to a gathering of people.
Talking to media on the sidelines of the rally, Vikar Rasool said that if elections are held in Jammu and Kashmir INC will emerge as the largest political party.
“All other political parties have limited existence but congress has a strong base in every region of  Jammu and Kashmir,” he said, adding that they are striving hard to make it more strong so that in coming time it can form government in Jammu and Kashmir on its own with majority vote.
He added that they are holding “Haath Se Haath Jodo” campaign to take three important issues raised by Rahul Gandi’s recently concluded Bharat Jodo Yatra to people across Jammu and Kashmir.
“We talk to people on three issues one communal hatred, second  inflation and third rising unemployment among youth,” he said.
Wani said that once in Power in Jammu and Kashmir INC government will give an immediate loan waiver to farmers, waive electricity bills and provide employment to youth as promised by them in their manifesto.
Wani said Haath Se Haath Jodo Programme is another people’s movement after Bharat Jodo Yatra which started from Kanayakumari and culminated in Kashmir sometime back.
“ Congress Party shall continue to launch such programmes in future also to ensure that the grievances especially rising unemployment, price hike, economic depression and various other issues are highlighted”.
JKPCC chief said BJP Govt has closed its eyes and trying to build fake narrative when it comes to employment generation, development of people, price hike and various other pressing issues, besides the new dictatorial order which has come in the shape of property tax in J&K.
He also criticized BJP for not holding elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
JKPCC President reiterated Congress Party shall continue to fight for restoration of Statehood and demands that election must be held at the earliest, at the sometime, he urged the J&K Govt to address developmental and economical issues and demanded waving of KCC Loans availed by farmers, who have equally suffered like other sectors in J&K.
