Srinagar:Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has made clear cut directions that the officials who fail to ensure the services under J&K Public Services Guarantee Act (JKPSGA) within the set timelines will be held responsible and acted upon accordingly.
The officials who will fail to stick to the timelines will face the action as per the law, a senior official privy to the development told Rising Kashmir.
Official sources said the government is in the process of establishing a mechanism which will be completed in the coming three months. The mechanism will monitor if the services are provided within the timeframe. Over a hundred services have been brought under the act over the months.
“The move is aimed to cut through the red-tape and enable people to smooth and hassle free service delivery, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir,” P K Pole said.
The LG Manoj Sinha also asserted the same in his recent speech in Jammu where he talked about the robust mechanism for speedy delivery of the services.
