Srinagar, Aug 02: Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday directed all employees to participate in the upcoming Independence Day celebrations on August 15th, 2024.
As per the circular, a copy of which lies with Rising Kashmir states that all government officers and officials are duty-bound to attend the main functions at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar or Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu.
Any absence from the event will only be permissible with prior permission from the immediate superior, it reads.
The circular also instructs all Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, and Managing Directors/Chief Executives of Public Sector Undertakings to ensure that their staff stationed in Srinagar and Jammu attend the celebrations at their respective locations.
