Senior political leader and MLA Tanvir Sadiq on Thursday assured daily wagers that the recently formulated committee of top bureaucrats will take a decision in their favor regarding their regularisation.
Speaking on the issue, Sadiq said the government is committed to addressing the concerns of daily wagers, who have been demanding job security for a long time. “I assure them that the committee will work in their favor and a positive decision will be taken,” he said.
He also spoke about the ongoing tourism boom in the Kashmir Valley, highlighting its benefits across various sectors.
“The tourism sector is witnessing a remarkable surge, and this will benefit everyone—whether it’s a hotelier, houseboat owner, shikara rider, cab owner, vegetable seller, or anyone involved in the trade,” Sadiq said.
Expressing optimism, he hoped that the tourism growth would continue in the coming years, providing economic stability to the people of Kashmir. (KNS)
