GOC 16 Corps, DGP discuss ‘modus operandi of terrorists’

Jammu, Jan 04: General Officer Commanding (GOC) 16 Corps, Lt. General Sandeep Jain called on the Director General of Police, J&K, Dilbag Singh at Police Headquarters here on Wednesday.
The DGP and the GOC discussed various issues relating to the overall security scenario in Jammu, particularly in the border districts, a police spokesperson said in a statement.
“The officers discussed the modus operandi of terrorists. They also discussed counter measures including those for foiling attempts of dropping arms ammunition and drugs by Pakistan through drones,” the spokesperson said, adding, “The DGP appreciated the synergy between the Army, J&K Police and CAPFs that has helped in breaking the back of terrorism in J&K.”
