Rajouri, Nov 22: Army on Tuesday conducted a tree plantation drive at Sabra, Rajouri under its Go Green initiative. The event is aimed at spreading awareness about planting trees, preserving forested areas and protecting natural wildlife habitats.
The local youth and school children were especially involved in the event to make them connect with their surroundings and become long-term stakeholders in its preservation. The participants expressed gratitude to the Army and resolved to carry the message of afforestation to their respective communities, while continuously striving to maintain the region clean and green.
