A minor girl died after she drowned in a stream in Wangat area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday.
Locals sources said that one Naziyah (12), D/O Imran Ahmad Raina, a resident of Baba Nagri Wangat drowned after she accidentally slipped into the stream at Wangath.
The body of the minor girl was retrieved from the stream and shifted to the hospital, however, the minor girl was declared brought dead at the hospital, they added.
