GDC Neeli Nallah organises seminar on Traffic Awareness

Udhampur, Nov 29: As part of the road safety promotion campaign, Government Degree College Neeli Nallah, Udhampur, in collaboration with IQAC of the college on Friday organised a seminar on “Traffic Awareness” here under the guidance of Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Seema Arora.
The program aimed at educating the stakeholders about the importance of developing road safety habits. The seminar commenced with an introduction by the NSS Program Officer, Prof. Shaista Yasmeen.
Several NSS volunteers and students delivered speeches on traffic awareness. Priya Devi of Semester 3rd, Sheetal Sharma of Semester 5th and Ramneek Sharma of Semester 3rd got 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. The seminar was judged by Dr. Akhter Hussain, Dr. Mubariq Mahire and Neha Devi.
The Principal appreciated the NSS department and students for organizing the seminar on such a sensitive issue. She highlighted real-life examples of the consequences of traffic violations and encouraged everyone to be vigilant and disciplined road users.
