Ganderbal, Jan 07: Scores of students of Government Degree College (GDC) Ganderbal on Saturday held a protest against the Kashmir University authorities over the “unfair” evaluation of examination papers.
The protesting students blocked the traffic movement which was later restored with the intervention of police and traffic officials.
The students of the 6th semester alleged that the Kashmir University authorities have made an unfair evaluation of examination papers. They said the university has not even declared the results of all subjects.
“Kashmir University is playing with our careers and it is not the first time that the university has done this,” alleged one of the students.
They said the results were “shocking” as none of the students was satisfied with the evaluation status.
“How is it possible that our papers are evaluated within three days? It seems the KU officials have just done the formality,” the aggrieved students told Rising Kashmir.
They have appealed to the KU Vice Chancellor to look into the matter and “save our career” by ordering a reevaluation.
