Ganderbal, Jul 04: As part of the ongoing Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JGUA), the district administration Ganderbal organised a special outreach and benefit saturation camp at Panchayat Ghar Margund, targeting tribal and marginalised populations of the area.The camp witnessed participation from multiple departments, including Health, ICDS, Social Welfare, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture, RDD, and Education.Services such as health check-ups, Ayushman Bharat registrations, distribution of medicines, livestock vaccinations, awareness on individual beneficiary schemes, and issuance of caste and income certificates were provided on the spot.Officers highlighted the mission of the Abhiyan to ensure last-mile delivery of welfare schemes in tribal villages and to bridge service gaps. The integrated approach brought critical schemes directly to the doorstep of eligible families, reflecting the commitment of the administration towards equitable and inclusive development.PRI members and locals expressed gratitude for holding the camp in their area and requested the continuation of such initiatives for the sustained development of tribal belts.
