Ganderbal, Feb 20: A local resident returned an expensive lost phone to a foreign tourist visiting Gagangeer, Sonmarg in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
In a viral video, a foreign tourist woman found herself in distress after misplacing her valuable phone. However, her anxiety quickly transformed into heartfelt gratitude when a kind-hearted local retrieved and returned her lost device.
Moved by this gesture of goodwill, the tourist openly expressed her appreciation for the warmth and hospitality of Kashmiris, well-known for their readiness to assist others.
The tourist, deeply touched by the experience, extended her sincere thanks to Abdul Rashid, a resident of Bardiparden Gagangeer, saying his “selfless actions restored her lost phone and faith in humanity”.
