Bandipora, May 21: The Department of Employment and Career Counseling (DE&CC) Bandipora, in collaboration with leading employers, on Sunday organized a day-long job fair cum placement drive here. The event was aimed to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers and provide an opportunity for aspiring individuals to secure meaningful employment.
The job fair cum placement drive attracted a diverse range of job seekers from various academic backgrounds and skill sets. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from both job seekers and employers, fostering a platform for productive interactions, interviews, and potential job placements.
The delegation of employer Naima Yousuf (MD) from Dr Suliman AL Habib Medical group and visiting delegates also spoke about the avenues in the private sector.
Throughout the day, participants engaged in informative sessions and career development. These sessions were conducted by industry experts and career counselors, providing valuable guidance to the attendees to enhance their employability. The job seekers had the opportunity to showcase their skills, qualifications, and experiences to potential employers, enabling them to make informed hiring decisions.
The drive witnessed the active participation of numerous organizations from different sectors including the students of all paramedical colleges of district Bandipora. The placement of female GNM and Staff Nurses in Dr Suliman Al Habib Medical Group through AL Yafur Travels Consultancy was also taken into consideration on the occasion.
On the occasion, Mohd Yousuf Khan, Career Counselling Officer Bandipora, expressed his gratitude to all the stakeholders involved in making the event a resounding success.
