Srinagar, Mar 21: Janata Dal United (JDU) President for Jammu and Kashmir, G M Shaheen has extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Navroz-e-Aalam.
In his message, Shaheen expressed his heartfelt wishes, hoping that this special day brings renewed prospects for peace, harmony and prosperity to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and the entire nation of India.
Emphasising the significance of Navroz, Shaheen highlighted its symbolism as a festival of renewal, hope, and harmony—ushering in new beginnings, rejuvenating nature, and inspiring individuals to embrace positivity and unity.
He underscored the deep cultural and spiritual importance of Navroz, noting that it has long been an integral part of Kashmir’s rich heritage. He lauded the spirit of traditional enthusiasm and devotion with which the festival is celebrated, reaffirming its role in fostering social cohesion.
The JDU leader urged people to use this occasion to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, compassion, and mutual respect, reinforcing the spirit of communal harmony and unity.
