Ganderbal: Friday market in Sonamarg hills of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district is becoming attraction of people living in and around the district.
The flea market popularly known as Friday Market located in main market Gund area of Ganderbal district remains abuzz with huge rush of shoppers as thousands thronged here on every Friday.
A large number of women, men are seen busy buying essential items and other items of food.
Hundreds of vendors who come from Srinagar as well as Ganderbal on Friday morning erect their stalls displaying varieties of items including winter clothes, kitchen utensils, furnishing, crockery, blankets, winter shoes and other items.
A local resident said he has been visiting the market for many years. “Market provides choices to customers at cheaper and satisfactory rates that attracts shoppers like me to visit the market,”
