Fraudster arrested for cheating, forgery with students promising MBBS Admission in Iran: Police

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday said that they have arrested a fraudster for duping students in disguise of MBBS admission Iran.

In a tweet, Srinagar police wrote, “A fraudster Syed Abas shah S/o Syed Yousuf Shah R/o wahabpora Budgam running educational consultancy ‘Dr Minds’ at parraypora in lieu of payment. FIR no. 65/2023 u/sections 468,420 of IPC in sadder PS,”.

“Students got to know of cheating & forgery after landing in Tehran & spending months there without any admission even after paying in lakhs to this Fraudster. Public is requested not to fall prey to such fraudsters running consultanties and duping students, job aspirants etc, reads another tweet.
