Baltal, July 10: As the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025 progresses smoothly through the Baltal route, the Forest Protection Force (FPF) Ganderbal has emerged as a key pillar in managing ground operations and supporting the massive influx of pilgrims.Tasked with overseeing crucial logistical points such as pony stands and prepaid ticket counters, the FPF has played a central role in maintaining order and ensuring that services run without disruption. Their well-organized efforts have eased congestion, improved queue systems, and significantly enhanced the experience for thousands of yatris arriving each day.Speaking on the force’s continued efforts, FPF Ganderbal Officer Mohammad Yousuf Magray said, “Our teams are deployed round the clock to ensure a smooth and safe yatra. Vigilance, discipline, and a service-first attitude define our approach.”A major focus of the FPF has been regulating pony services. Only registered pony operators are allowed to function at the base camp — a move that has reduced traffic chaos and improved safety for both pilgrims and service providers. The prepaid ticket counters, tightly monitored by FPF personnel, have ensured fair and transparent access, curbing unauthorized entries and delays.Pilgrims have responded with appreciation, commending the FPF for their professionalism and courteous conduct. Many said that the smooth arrangements helped them focus on the spiritual aspect of their journey without logistical concerns.
