Ganderbal, Jan 08: In a trial blazing event, a four-year old girl, Mir Ayeza from Duderhama Ganderbal completed her first snow trail from Naranag to Marchoi in 7 hours.
‘With grit and determination, you can reach the stars’ and this four-year-old girl proves that this adage could not be more true.
Ayeza was accompanied by Er Ashiq Nabi Bhat, International mountaineering Guide who recently saved an Italian mountaineer from Kun peak in the Kargil region.
The trail was all covered with snow, however, the extreme weather didn’t stop the four-year-old from accomplishing the trail.
“Taking into account her physical strength and age adds richness to the fact that adventure is for everyone,” Er. Ashiq said.
“Kids coming out of their cosy rooms and being exposed to the field of adventure at such a young age will prepare Kashmir to experience adventure sports of the highest calibre,” Ashiq added.
It was her first maiden snow trail and is hopeful to do more adventurous trails in near future.
