Four-day 7-A Football Tournament concludes at IUST

Awantipora, Sep 22: The four-day 7-A-Side Interdepartmental Football Tournament 2022 concluded at IUST on Thursday.
The event organized by the Directorate of Physical Education & Sports, IUST runs from September 19 – 22, 2022. Eight teams participated in the tournament.
The winners were awarded by Prof.Shakil A Romshoo (Vice-Chancellor, IUST) who applauded the active involvement of all participating teams.
The department of Electronics and Communication won the final match against the department of Mechanical Engineering (First Runner-up). Prof A H Moon (Dean Research), ,Sameer Wazir (Chairman IUST Sports Committee), Dr.Parvez Mir (Director CIED), and Dr.Hilal Ahmed Rather (Director IUST Sports and Physical Education) also congratulated the winning teams and appreciated active participation of departments in the tournament. Majid Makdoomi was the referee of the tournament.
