Atleast five tourists suffered minor injuries after Scorpio met with an accident near Kachar Mode Hung Sonamarg area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Police sources told Rising Kashmir that a Scorpio bearing Registration number JK07/1810 on way from Gagangeer to Sonamarg boarded with Tourists Skidded off the road near Kachar Mode Hung due to slippery road condition following fresh Snowfall, resulting to minor Injuries of five tourists.
As soon as Sonamarg Police recieved information they reached the spot along with SHO Younis Bashir and rescued all the Tourists and taken them to PHC Kullan for treatment where their condition are believed to be stable.
They have been identified as Narinder Thawini (60), Shivam Dixit (29), Deepa Thawini (58), Heena Dixit. (28) Rashma Kuniri (29) all the residents of Jaipur Rajasthan.
Meanwhile Sonamarg police have registered an Fir 38/2022 U/S 279, 337 IPC and further investigation has been taken up.
