Srinagar, Oct 19 : A devastating fire tore through a residential house and claimed a life of 7-year-old in Takkiya Bhaderkote, area of Karnah in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday.
The incident has resulted in the loss of a precious life, that of 7-year-old Kulsooma Rayaz, who was physically challenged.
According to eyewitnesses the fire originated within the home of Rayaz Hussain Shah, son of Haider Shah.
Reports said as the flames raged, the house was entirely engulfed, reducing it to ashes and leaving the family in shock and despair.
Tragically, Kulsooma Rayaz daughter of Rayaz Hussain, could not escape the blaze’s fury and was charred to death. The area is left mourning the untimely loss of this innocent child, whose life was full of promise.
Local authorities are diligently investigating the incident, striving to ascertain the cause of the fire that has left a locality in mourning and a family in profound grief.
