A building of Jammu and Kashmir Bank suffered damages in a fire incident at Tikuna village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
Rising Kashmir learnt from officials of zonal office J and K Bank south zone one that the fire erupted in the building on Wednesday morning.
“ It damaged counters, ceiling and some computers,” zonal manager concerned said, adding that all records are safe.
“All files and vouchers are safe,” he said.
He added that till the affected bank branch building is repaired, it will operate from JK Bank Rajpora branch.
He said that they will also look for temporary accommodation at Tikuna where from they will operate the affected bank branch functions.
The officials said that the fire was caused due to short circuit.
