A readymade garment shop was destroyed a massive fore in main market Sheeri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said on Monday.
An official told KNS that fire engulfed the shop today afternoon and soon after fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
He said that before the fire could be put off garments along with other merchandise worth lakhs were reduced to ashes.
The official said that the fire was caused due to a short circuit, while police have taken cognisance in this regard. (KNS)
