Srinagar, Sep 03: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday welcomed former MLA Naushera and former Chairman of Kisan Board, Radheysham Sharma into the party.
Dr Farooq expressed optimism that his joining would strengthen the party’s presence on the ground. He urged him to actively promote the party’s vision and mission, as outlined in the party manifesto, to every doorstep.
The NC Chief also welcomed political activist Irfan Gull from Kulgam into the party ranks, an official statement issued here said, adding that State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar was present on the occasion.
“Irfan has been affiliated with the Communist Party of India (Marxist), serving as a District Committee Member of CPI(M) Kulgam and Area Secretary of CPI(M) Kulgam-A. In addition, he has held positions as a Central Executive Member of DYFI and the General Secretary of JKDYF,” the statement said.
