Farooq, Omar pay condolence visit

Srinagar, July 02: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Tuesday expressed profound grief over the demise of Mrs Fatima Abdullah, wife of late Haji Muhammad Abdullah Wani of Buchwara, Boulevard.
The duo prayed for peace to the departed soul and fortitude to the bereaved household.
“In a show of compassion and solidarity, they paid a visit to the grieving family at Buchwara to offer their heartfelt condolences. Their presence was a source of comfort to the bereaved household, especially to Muhammad Afzal Wani and Javaid Abdullah Wani, the sons of the deceased. Together they offered Fatiha for the deceased on the occasion,” the party said in a statement issued here.
Among others, MP Srinagar Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi and Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq also extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved household.
