Farooq, Omar grieved over demise of Romisa Tariq

Srinagar, 05 Feb: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of the Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Monday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the passing of District Secretary Srinagar Women’s Wing, Romisa Tariq, daughter of Provincial Secretary Women’s Wing Ayesha Jameel.
In his condolence message, Dr. Farooq said, “I have received the tragic news of Rumisa’s passing with heartbreak. Young Rumisa would be remembered as a humble and hardworking women’s leader who worked diligently for the party in general and women’s wing in particular. My sincere condolences and sympathies to the bereaved household, particularly Provincial Secretary Aisha Jameel ji. May the departed soul rest in peace in the highest echelons of Jannat and may the bereaved household find strength during this difficult time.”
In his condolence message, Omar Abdullah deemed Rumisa’s demise as an irreparable loss for the party in general & women’s wing in particular. “I am deeply pained to learn about the demise of Romisa Tariq. Words can’t do justice to this loss and what the family must be going through. My sincere sympathies and condolences to the bereaved household especially to her mother Aisha Ji during this difficult time.”
