Srinagar, Nov 12: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference president, Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President & Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have expressed profound grief over the tragic fire in Kishtwar, where a woman and her two children were charred to death in a fire incident.
Dr Farooq in a statement said he was deeply shocked by the tragic death of a woman and her two children in a fire incident in Kishtwar. “It is truly heartbreaking to hear that they were charred to death in their own home in Bhugrana Saroor. My thoughts and prayers are with the grieving family during this difficult time. It is imperative that the administration promptly provide the necessary relief and rehabilitation to those affected by this devastating tragedy,” he said
Expressing sorrow over the tragic incident, CM Omar said, “It is truly devastating to hear about the loss of lives. My heartfelt condolences and sympathies go out to the bereaved families, and I pray for peace for the departed souls. The government is committed to ensuring that the families of the deceased and all those affected are provided with the necessary support and care.”
The party’s general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar and leaders Sajjad Kitchloo and Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy also expressed shock and grief over the tragic deaths. They prayed for peace for departed souls and much-needed strength for bereaved families.
