Srinagar, July 21: Apni Party’s senior leader and media advisor Farooq Andrabi on Friday called upon the district administration in central Kashmir’s Budgam to ensure all necessary arrangements during the month of Muharram-ul-Haram.
In a statement, he said, “The district administration must ensure the availability of essential items, medical facilities, and an uninterrupted supply of safe drinking water and electricity, particularly in the Shia-dominated areas. It is crucial to ensure the smooth observance of Muharram-ul-Haram, and that the populations comprising mourners do not suffer any inconvenience during this holy month.”
“Besides providing an uninterrupted water and power supply during the auspicious days, the government must ensure the availability of essential commodities everywhere in the district, including areas like Chadoora, Chattagram, Sathsoo, Khanda, Wagoora, and others,” Andrabi said.
