Expand Sangh base in J&K ahead of 2024 elections: RSS chief to BJP, frontal orgs

Jammu, Oct 14: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief, Dr Mohan Bhagwat, on Saturday asked the BJP and the frontal organisations of the RSS to pull up their socks and work hard to promote nationalism spirit among the people of the Union Territory of J&K ahead of 2024 elections. 
The RSS chief, Dr Moham Bhagwat, reached Jammu yesterday on an all-important visit to the J&K UT ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.  
A coordination committee meeting of all the frontal organisations of RSS including the BJP was convened by the RSS Chief at Keshav Bhawan, the RSS headquarter at Jammu. 
BJP General Secretary (Organisation), Ashok Koul, BJP J&K UT President, Ravinder Raina, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma from the BJP and senior leaders of VHP, ABVP, Sewa Bharti, Bajrang Dal and other frontal organisations of RSS participated in the coordination committee meeting. 
“Be focussed, work hard and reach out to the people of J&K with the nationalist ideology of the RSS and its people-friendly programmes for the society so that we get desired results in 2024 and maximum support of the people,” Dr Bhagwat told the BJP leaders and the leaders of the frontal organisations of the RSS during the coordination committee meeting.  
“Work for expanding Sangh base in J&K so that we achieve our goal,” the RSS Chief asked the BJP leaders and the leaders of RSS frontal organisations.  
Later in the day, the RSS chief held an all-important meeting with the heads of all Sangh shakhas of J&K at Bhartiya Yog Sansthan, Gole Gujral, Talab Tillo.
The RSS chief sought a detailed report about the functioning of the RSS Shakhas in J&K and urged the heads to implement the programmes of RSS and work towards increasing the Sangh base in J&K.
