SRINAGAR, Nov 04: The government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced plans to conduct examinations for students up to the 9th grade in December across the Kashmir Valley.
On October 30, 2024, the Jammu and Kashmir government confirmed a return to the academic session for grades up to 9th, shifting it from the earlier March schedule to November-December. Minister for Education Sakina Itoo informed reporters that the examinations will take place in December.
“All essential arrangements in examination halls will be made available to the students. This is not a novel occurrence, as examinations for students have also been conducted in December in previous years. Students have actively participated in these examinations across the Kashmir Valley,” she stated.
