It is noteworthy that the party has welcomed several prominent figures in recent days, with reports suggesting that more individuals are expected to join soon.
Jammu and Kashmir are scheduled to hold assembly elections beginning on September 18, with the first phase of voting. The second and third phases are set for September 25 and October 1, respectively.
Following Er. Rashid’s big victory in the Lok Sabha elections, the AIP has gained widespread public support. Rashid, who is incarcerated these days, won a high-profile victory over former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and JK People’s Conference Chief Sajad Gani Lone.
The party earlier announced that it would contest in the highest number of seats across Union Territory and said it would be a contender on all 44-seats-fortress, which compromises Kashmir Valley. Over the next few more days we will see how many seats AIP takes over.
