Jammu, Jan 24: EPFO Jammu, Srinagar and Ladakh, will be holding ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ and an umbrella awareness program covering themes of advances for illness, marriage, house building and education.
The aim of the program is to ensure broad-based participation, awareness, grievances redressal and an information exchange network closer to the stakeholders of EPFO.
The PF Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin informed that subscribers, pensioners, establishments, labor unions and industrial chambers are advised to actively participate in the ‘Nidhi Apke Nikat’ program.
‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ would be held in Samba on January 27, (one-hour duration from 10 am onwards) in the Conference Hall, DC Office; in Kathua on January 27 (one-hour duration from 10 am onwards) in the Conference Hall, DC Office; in R S Pura, Jammu, on January 27 (one-hour duration from 10 am onwards) at the BDO Office; in Ganderbal on January 27 (one-hour duration from 10 am onwards) in the Conference Hall, DC Office; and in Srinagar on January 27 (one-hour duration from 10 am onwards) at the Conference Hall, DLC Office, Srinagar.
“EPFO Jammu takes this opportunity to provide handholding support to the stakeholders at the respective venues besides hearing them (their suggestions, inputs and grievances). Issues and problems faced by the organizations in implementing the EPF & MP Act. 1952 will be heard and necessary actions would be taken accordingly,” the EPFO said in a statement.  “Enrollment of the members, UAN Activation, Bank & Aadhaar Seeding, online claim filing, filing of e-nominations, e-sign, and filing ECR would be covered in the program. In addition to the above, any other relevant issue related to EPFO which officers or stakeholder desire would be discussed.”
The combined efforts of all stakeholders would help in the extension of “social security” through Pension and Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Schemes to every working citizen of the union territories of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, the EPFO Jammu said, adding that it is open to every valuable suggestion at the ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’.
