Jammu, Mar 07: In a remarkable feat of financial achievement, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Regional Office – Jammu, has surpassed its revenue target, reaching a milestone figure of Rs. 86 Lakhs in Account No. 2 for the month of February 2024. This accomplishment stands as the highest recorded income in the current financial year, showcasing a significant increase from the previous year’s figure of Rs. 79 Lakhs for the same period.

Under the stewardship of Rizwan Uddin, Regional P F Commissioner-I, Jammu, EPFO Jammu has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to service excellence and operational efficiency. Implementing a flexible working model, the office has streamlined its processes to efficiently handle claims and address grievances while catering to stakeholders across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

The achievement is attributed to a proactive approach, including consistent follow-ups through call centers, emails, and the “Nidhi Apke Nikat 2.0” initiative. This concerted effort has yielded significant improvements, particularly in addressing non-compliance issues among private firms, companies, and other establishments.

Rizwan Uddin’s leadership has spearheaded a remarkable transformation in revenue generation, with the average monthly income in Account No. 2 rising from Rs. 56 Lakhs to Rs. 80 Lakhs over the past two and a half years—a notable increase of over forty percent. This growth underscores the diligent efforts of a dedicated team of officials, led by Uddin, in ensuring adherence to EPFO norms and expanding the organization’s coverage among establishments.

Moreover, EPFO Jammu has not only excelled in financial performance but also demonstrated a commitment to social security by expediting the processing of pension claims and providing benefits to the families of deceased members. Special emphasis has been placed on the settlement of death claims, resulting in the timely disbursement of benefits to eligible claimants.

The exemplary achievements of EPFO Jammu underscore its commitment to operational excellence and service delivery, setting a benchmark for other regional offices within the organization. With a focus on efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder welfare, EPFO Jammu continues to uphold its mandate of safeguarding the interests of employees and promoting social security across the region.
