Jammu, Apr 01: “For a developed India, wherein poverty is done away with, youth have enormous opportunities, women are empowered, farmers are progressing and corruption is eradicated, there is a dire need of re-electing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and that too with 400 plus seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. This result will strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team, which in turn will lead India to a new height of progress and prosperity.” This was stated by BJP J&K Executive Member Raman Suri on Monday who added that the past ten years’ governance was just a model and the real game of building a strong nation is going to begin from here onwards.
Raman Suri in a statement said, “The entire opposition including Congress and other regional parties have come on a single platform against Narendra Modi, which establishes their hatred for the individual who has a clean image, is taking India to new heights and enjoys a good reputation around the globe for being a decision-taking Prime Minister.”
He said the opposition is clueless, is trying to save the corrupt and is just targeting an individual as they do not have any agenda which is aimed at helping people or taking Bharat to a level where the world recognises its might and capability in every field.
The BJP leader said that each and every Lok Sabha seat, be it that of Kathua-Udhampur or Jammu-Poonch where Dr Jitendra Singh and Jugal Kishore Sharma are contesting respectively is important as 400 plus seats will empower the Modi government to bring new laws which are very important for the country and its progress.
Having abrogated Article 370 or brought in laws which are equally beneficial for the entire nation, the BJP has now decided to work for the empowerment of women, youth and farmers and also strengthen our military might, he said.
Suri said that during the past ten years, hostile neighbours got a clear message that terrorism and talks cannot go together. The way India progressed on all fronts and strengthened its borders, the country remained safe and became capable of dealing with any challenge coming from the enemies, he said.
“In a country where earlier only small fish were caught in net and influentials escaped the arrest for their misdeeds, today the rich and powerful are also behind bars for their wrongdoings. Ironically, the entire opposition is standing behind the corrupt and instead of seeking action against them, it is seeking their release,” he said.
“This is the new Bharat, where Narendra Modi by his ability has exposed the corrupt and brought them on one platform from where they are showing their true colours to the entire nation. Jammu and Kashmir, according to the opposition leaders, was a complex issue which would have never been settled and would have continued to affect India like a chronic disease. Contrarily, Narendra Modi and his team of able administrators not only solved this complex puzzle but also gave people their rights and empowered women,” he added
Seeking votes for Dr Jitendra Singh and Jugal Kishore Sharma, Raman Suri said the time has come to strengthen the hands of Narendra Modi by electing these leaders to the Lok Sabha.
