Reviews arrangements for JKP, CAPF
Ganderbal, June 09: To review the arrangements for J&K Police and CAPF ahead of the upcoming Amarnath yatra, DIG CKR Srinagar, Rajiv Pandey-IPS, visited the Baltal Base Camp and the Yatra Track from Domail to the holy cave on Sunday.
Rajiv Pandey was accompanied by DIG North CRPF, Sudhir Kumar, and SSP Ganderbal, Sandeep Gupta-IPS.
During the visit, DIG CKR held detailed discussions with senior officers of the District Police and CAPF regarding the smooth conduct of the forthcoming Amarnath Ji Yatra-2024. A comprehensive security review and assessment of all pivotal locations en route, including Transit Camps, with a focus on Base Camp Baltal and Domail, were conducted. Senior district officers were briefed to consider various arrangements for J&K Police and other CAPF at every level.
Special emphasis was given to the Yatra Track from Domail to the holy cave. Furthermore, DIG CKR directed senior officers to ensure that all necessary arrangements for a smooth Amarnath Ji Yatra-2024 are completed on time.
