An Encounter has started between security forces and terrorists in Panipora area of north Kashmir’s Sopore area.
A police official said that following the gunshots during the CASO, a joint operation was launched by Police, Army and CRPF in the area and has launched a search operation to trace the terrorists.
Meanwhile, Kashmir Zone Police in a post on X wrote, “Acting on a specific input regarding the presence of #terrorists in Panipora #Sopore area of #Baramulla, a joint anti-terrorist #operation was launched by Police and security forces. During the search operation, an exchange of fire took place. Further details shall follow.”
