An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Gandoh area of J&K’s Doda, Police said on Wednesday.
A Police official said that an encounter has started in the Gandoh area of Doda. More details awaited.
Earlier, Five jawans and a sub-divisional special police officer (SDPO) were injured in the encounter that began after terrorists opened fire at a joint checkpost of police and Rashtriya Rifles at an army base in the Chattargala area on the Bhadarwah-Pathankot road in Doda.
This comes in the wake of the terror attack in Hiranagar village in Kathua district on Tuesday night in which two terrorists and CRPF Jawan was killed and Sunday’s terror attack in Reasi in which ten pilgrims were killed.
