Kargil: A 79-year-old woman was mauled to death by a pack of stray dogs here in Rantaksha Zanskar area of Kargil district.
Officials said that Tsering Kunzess 79, wife of Late TashiTundup was attacked and killed by stray dogs while she was outside her home.
Sub Divisional Magistrate and Station House Officer Zanskar rushed to the site and took the dead body under Police custody and shifted the body to CHC Padum for post mortem.
The SDM assured to provide all logistic supports for cremation i.e firewood and other essentials required for her funeral ceremony.
