Bandipora, Oct 31: As a mark of respect to “The iron man of India”, a bike rally was organised by BSF under the supervision of the BSF Sector of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday.
An official told Rising Kashmir that the rally covered the distance from Bandipora to Rajdhan Pass (at an altitude of 12500 feet).
One of the members of the bike rally told Rising Kashmir that it was an endeavour to express solidarity on the occasion of “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” or “National Unity Day.”
Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2022 marks the 147th birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The day is observed to reinforce our dedication to preserve and strengthen the unity, integrity and security of the nation.
