Tremours were felt in Jammu and Kashmir’s Katra on Monday evening, according to National Centre for Seismology.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.4 on the Richter Scale was recorded at 22:07 pm today. The depth of the earthquake was recorded at 25 km.
In a tweet, National Center for Seismology wrote, Earthquake of Magnitude:3.4, Occurred on 20-02-2023, 22:07:11 IST, Lat: 33.03 & Long: 75.89, Depth: 25 Km ,Location: 89km E of Katra, Jammu and Kashmir, India.”
Earlier, On Friday an earthquake of 3.6 magnitude hit the Katra belt of Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district.
