Dy CM assures all possible help to Shashi Abrol’s family

JAMMU, Oct 22: The Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Chowdhary, on Tuesday said that the government will do everything possible to provide relief to the family of Shashi Abrol, who was killed by terrorists in Ganderbal area of Kashmir.

Shashi Abrol, was among the seven persons, killed by terrorists in Ganderbal district. He was cremated here on Tuesday at Shakti Nagar cremation ground.

“I have come here to express my condolences to the bereaved family in this hour of grief,” the Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Chowdhary, said while talking to reporters, near Shakti Nagar cremation ground.

“The government will do all possible to provide relief to the family of Shashi Abrol,” the Deputy Chief Minister said.

The Member Parliament (MP) from Jammu-Reasi Lok Sabha seat, Jugal Kishore Sharma, attended the last rites of Shashi Abrol.

Earlier, the wife of Shashi Abrol, Ruchi Abrol, while talking to reporters, said, “Our family has been shattered after this terror attack and we want a government job to support our family”.

She also said that the government must support her family for the continuation of children’s education.

Shashi Abrol, an architectural designer, was one of the seven employees of APCO Infratech who were killed when terrorists attacked a tunnel construction site on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway on Sunday.

The terrorists carried out the attack after the construction company staff had returned to their camp late in the evening in Gund in Ganderbal.
