Duloo releases RIFK Entertainment’s documentary ‘Road To Sharda’

Jammu, Nov 20: A documentary ‘Road To Sharda’ based on the life journey of Ramesh Hangloo, Director Radio Sharda produced by RIFK Entertainment and directed by Rohit Bhat was released by Atul Duloo, Additional Chief Secretary, JKUT at a function organized by Vomedh in association with TIFFS here on Sunday. 
The documentary is based on the fascinating life and journey of Ramesh Hangloo, a man who connected Kashmiri Pandits across the globe with their roots through Radio Sharda, and the documentary traces his journey which needs to be known to everyone. 
Vomedh, a prominent theatre group on Sunday organized the release function at KL Sehgal Hall, Abhinav Theatre where a galaxy of artists, intellectuals and people from all walks of life participated.
Speaking on the occasion, Atul Dulloo appreciated the efforts of RIFK and Vomedh to highlight the unknown facets of the life of Ramesh Hangloo through this documentary, saying Radio Sharda was doing a tremendous service to the community and has emerged as the voice of people through sheer hard work, sincerity and unbiased programming since its inception.
He said that Radio Sharda was not only a community radio but an expression of their culture, heritage, art and other facets of life.
Ramesh Hangloo while thanking RIFK for producing the documentary also expressed his thanks to Vomedh and the director of the documentary Rohit Bhat for bringing his life journey to the public domain and assured that his venture would continue to cater to the needs of the community at large to protect, preserve and propagate the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir.
Rohit Bhat, the director of the documentary, in his speech said that Radio Sharda has touched the life of every Kashmiri outside the valley and it was the love and respect for the man who made it possible to bring a documentary on his life journey, struggles and the ultimate success story.
