DSEK Seeks Documents for One-Time Exemption Cases

Srinagar, April 27: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has asked all Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of the Kashmir division to process cases related to the grant of one-time exemption in favour of teaching and other staff of the School Education Department who have acquired higher qualifications during service through distance or online mode without obtaining prior permission from the Administrative Department.

 

According to an official communique issued by Personal Officer Dr. Iqbal Hussain Mir, a designated committee constituted in light of Government Order No. 188-JK (Edu) of 2024 dated March 15, 2024, held a meeting on February 19, 2026, to scrutinize and examine one-time exemption cases of incumbents in the discipline of Kashmiri.

 

 

The communique said  that the committee did not recommend these cases due to deficiency of requisite documents, as recorded in the remarks column of the annexure enclosed with the communication.

 

The Personal officer has requested all CEOs to furnish duly authenticated requisite documents to the office at the earliest to proceed in the matter on its merits.
