Srinagar, Oct 31: The Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Tuesday ordered a change in the school timings for the government and recognised private schools from November 1 across the Kashmir valley.
The Director of School Education, in an official order, said that the classwork in both government-recognised private schools in the Kashmir division will take effect on November 1.
“The school timing within Srinagar municipal limits will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. However, the schools falling outside the municipal limits of Srinagar district and other areas of the Kashmir province will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m,” he said.
DSEK said that all the institutions must strictly adhere to the given order or instructions. Any deviation in this regard will be viewed strictly.
