SRINAGAR, May 28:Amidst the scorching heat wave, the Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has declared a summer break for all government and recognized private schools in the summer zone areas of the region, extending from June 1 to July 16.
As per an official decree issued by the Director of School Education Jammu, all government-recognized private schools within the summer zone of Jammu Division are mandated to adhere to the summer vacation schedule from June 1, 2024, to July 16, 2024.
Additionally, the DSEJ has instructed all teachers to be available for providing online guidance to students during the vacation period.
The order also warned of disciplinary action against the head of the school or teaching staff for any deviation from the prescribed schedule.
